A beautiful day on the Nauset National Seashore Bike Trail. The Nauset National Seashore Trail is 3.2 miles round trip and starts across the street from the bike shop. The trail runs through the woods, passes by Doane Rock, over the marsh and out to Coast Guard Beach! Pack a picnic(or we can tell you where to buy a lunch) for the beach or Doane Rock has picnic tables.This trail is beautiful and Coast Guard beach was rated one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the United States. This is one of the most scenic bike trails on the Cape!
Cape Cod Rail Trail
The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a 25 mile trail(one-way). The Cape Cod Rail trail goes from Wellfleet to Dennis. The trail goes through the woods, by ponds, cranberry bogs, over marshes and much more. There are places to rest and/or have a bite to eat along the trail. In Eastham the trail easily connects w/the Nauset National Seashore Trail(info above). This trail also connects w/Nickerson State Park Trail and the Chatham Rail Trail extension. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a great way enjoy biking on the Cape.
